Job Description

About TETR

Five years ago, we started Masters’ Union; our vision: to redefine the landscape of business education. We posed a simple question: If aspiring doctors learn from seasoned physicians and budding lawyers learn from legal experts, why shouldn't future business leaders learn directly from industry experts?

After all, can a lecture on Accounting 101 truly compare to the hands-on experience of analyzing real PnL statements?

Today, Masters' Union has an unparalleled curriculum with faculty comprising Industry Leaders and practitioners unlike any other in the country. Our academic council includes CXOs, MDs, Eminent Public Leaders, and even Members of Parliament. In just four years of operations, our flagship PGP in Technology and Business Management has achieved remarkable success, surpassing the placement records of esteemed institutions like IIM Ahmedabad and ISB.

Masters’ Union is now ranked among the top 2 B-schools in the country based on placement records.

With our growing global recognition, we realized that the hands-on experience of building real businesses, which proved to be highly effective for students in India, could offer immense value to aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide.

Thus, the idea of Tetr was born.

Picture this: a business program that isn't just about textbooks and lectures—it's an adventure that spans 7 different countries, with each semester bringing a new destination and a wealth of experience. Imagine studying at iconic institutions like INSEAD, NUS, SDA Bocconi, and IIT and learning from some of the brightest minds in the business world like Dr. Edward Rogers (Former Chief Knowledge Officer, NASA), Mr. Faverie Stephane (Executive Group President, Estee Lauder) and Mr. Saud Swar (CBO, American Express, MENA). From launching eCommerce ventures in Dubai to tackling tech startups in Silicon Valley, our students traverse the globe, building businesses and making a tangible impact. At Tetr, the world is your classroom.

If this excites you, and you resonate with our vision, then we’d love for you to come and build with us .

About this role

We’re looking for a Student Experience Associate who will be the front line of the student experience across Shanghai, London and Dubai.

At Tetr, students don't simply attend a programme. They move across countries, cultures and environments while simultaneously building real businesses in live global markets. That makes the student experience a lot more than schedules and administration.

Own the operational details that make the programme run seamlessly, while also building the sense of community that makes a global cohort feel like one. Highly organised, naturally approachable and comfortable working with a diverse group of people across cultures and geographies.

Specifically, this role will involve
  • Being the front line of the student experience across Shanghai, London and Dubai, supporting students as they navigate academic, personal and cultural experiences in each location.
  • Running the day-to-day operational engine that keeps the programme seamless — including schedules, logistics, cohort movements, communications and on-ground coordination.
  • Acting as the go-to point of contact for students, building trust and ensuring they know where to go when they need support.
  • Supporting students through the practical and cultural challenges of moving between countries and adapting to new environments.
  • Managing student records, trackers, documentation and communication with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinating student communications across academic schedules, programme updates, events, travel, logistics and other important information.
  • Planning and executing events, community activities and cultural experiences that bring the cohort together.
  • Creating opportunities for students to build meaningful relationships with each other and engage with the different cultures and communities they encounter across the programme.
  • Working closely with academic, Capstone, operations and other cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent student experience across geographies.
  • Collecting and understanding student feedback and translating it into better processes, experiences and support systems.
  • Identifying issues early and proactively solving them before they become larger problems.
  • Supporting students through moments of transition, uncertainty or difficulty while knowing when an issue needs to be escalated to the appropriate team.
  • Helping create a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for a diverse international cohort.
  • Being on the ground when the programme requires it and doing whatever is needed to make the student experience work.
Ideal candidate will have
  • 1–3 years of experience in student experience, student affairs, residential education, programme management, community building, events management or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage documentation, trackers, schedules, logistics and multiple operational workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • A genuine understanding of and empathy for the challenges international students can face while adjusting to new countries and cultures.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
  • Ability to manage sensitive student situations with maturity, discretion and empathy.
  • Comfort working with a diverse, multicultural cohort.
  • Willingness to travel and live across Shanghai, London and Dubai throughout the academic year.
  • Prior experience living or working in China, the UK, UAE or a comparable international environment would be valuable.
Good to have
  • Experience supporting multicultural or internationally distributed programmes.
  • Prior experience working with university students, young professionals or residential communities.
  • Familiarity with student conduct processes and behavioural intervention frameworks.
  • Experience managing student communities, residential programmes or large-scale events.
  • Experience working in an international education, university, startup or fast-paced programme environment.
  • Strong understanding of cross-cultural communication and community building.
