Job Description

About TETR

Five years ago, we started Masters’ Union; our vision: to redefine the landscape of business education. We posed a simple question: If aspiring doctors learn from seasoned physicians and budding lawyers learn from legal experts, why shouldn't future business leaders learn directly from industry experts?

After all, can a lecture on Accounting 101 truly compare to the hands‑on experience of analyzing real PnL statements?

Today, Masters' Union has an unparalleled curriculum with faculty comprising Industry Leaders and practitioners unlike any other in the country. Our academic council includes CXOs, MDs, Eminent Public Leaders, and even Members of Parliament. In just four years of operations, our flagship PGP in Technology and Business Management has achieved remarkable success, surpassing the placement records of esteemed institutions like IIM Ahmedabad and ISB.

Masters’ Union is now ranked among the top 2 B-schools in the country based on placement records.

With our growing global recognition, we realized that the hands‑on experience of building real businesses, which proved to be highly effective for students in India, could offer immense value to aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide.

Thus, the idea of Tetr was born.

If this excites you, and you resonate with our vision, then we’d love for you to come and build with us.

About this role

If you have spent your career executing systems built by others, this role will be hard. If you have built from scratch before, managed teams under real pressure, and made sound decisions in international settings with incomplete information, it is the right kind of hard.

The underlying principle: students at Tetr are being asked to grow up fast, in unfamiliar countries, under real pressure. The Regional Head designs the environment in which that happens. Every decision should be built around one question: does this develop students' capacity to navigate challenge, connect across difference, and become successful entrepreneurs?

Specifically, this role will involve
Student Experience Architecture
  • You design the regional student experience model from orientation through to term close, across two countries.
Welfare and Safeguarding
  • Welfare at this level is system design and judgment under pressure. You build the triage pathways, escalation protocols, and documentation standards that allow your team to act on complex cases. When cases escalate — mental health crises, medical emergencies, safeguarding concerns — you are the decision‑maker. You hold working knowledge of duty of care obligations across both operating countries and you ensure your team has the supervision and training to carry welfare demand without burning out.
Community and Student Voice
  • Students from 50+ nationalities are living together in countries most of them have never been to. The quality of peer relationships they build determines how much they learn, how safe they feel, and whether they stay. You design the conditions for that community to form: clan structures, cultural exchange, cross‑cohort touchpoints. You manage the Student Council as a governance relationship.
  • You manage two Student Welfare Managers and three Resident Life Managers across two countries. Your job is to build a team capable of delivering exemplary student experience, develop them as professionals, and hold clear standards.
  • You are accountable for knowing whether the experience you have designed is working. You build feedback mechanisms, track welfare case volume and NPS over time, identify patterns before they become problems, and bring findings to global leadership with evidence and resolution options. You also build the institutional memory of your region: what worked, what the next person needs to know.
Cross‑Functional Ownership
  • Academic scheduling, career programming, facilities, partner institutions — decisions made in those functions land in your team's lap. You maintain the working relationships that give you visibility and influence. You own the student‑facing resolution regardless of where the root cause sits.
Ideal Candidate will have
  • 5+ years in student experience, student affairs, residential education, or programme leadership in higher education
  • Proven experience in student management or operations within higher education, especially in
  • multicultural or multinational settings.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Proficient in CRM, workflow, and documentation tools.
  • Experience managing a team through a high‑pressure period in an under‑resourced or fast‑changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to design feedback mechanisms, interpret data, and turn findings into decisions
  • Prior experience living or working in the UAE, India, or a comparable international market
Good to have
  • Experience in a startup or early‑stage institution where you built infrastructure that did not previously exist
  • A track record of developing junior staff into strong practitioners
  • Working knowledge of safeguarding frameworks and duty of care in international student contexts
  • Master's degree in education, psychology, student affairs, international relations, or a related field
