About TETR

Five years ago, we started Masters’ Union; our vision: to redefine the landscape of business education. We posed a simple question: If aspiring doctors learn from seasoned physicians and budding lawyers learn from legal experts, why shouldn't future business leaders learn directly from industry experts?

After all, can a lecture on Accounting 101 truly compare to the hands-on experience of analysing real PnL statements?

Today, Masters' Union has an unparalleled curriculum with faculty comprising Industry Leaders and practitioners unlike any other in the country. Our academic council includes CXOs, MDs, Eminent Public Leaders, and even Members of Parliament. In just four years of operations, our flagship PGP in Technology and Business Management has achieved remarkable success, surpassing the placement records of esteemed institutions like IIM Ahmedabad and ISB.

Masters’Union is now ranked among the top 2 B-schools in the country based on placement records.

With our growing global recognition, we realized that the hands-on experience of building real businesses, which proved to be highly effective for students in India, could offer immense value to aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide.

Thus, the idea of Tetr was born.

Picture this: a business program that isn't just about textbooks and lectures—it's an adventure that spans 7 different countries, with each semester bringing a new destination and a wealth of experience. Imagine studying at iconic institutions like INSEAD, NUS, SDA Bocconi, and IIT and learning from some of the brightest minds in the business world like Dr. Edward Rogers (Former Chief Knowledge Officer, NASA), Mr. Faverie Stephane (Executive Group President, Estee Lauder) and Mr. Saud Swar (CBO, American Express, MENA). From launching eCommerce ventures in Dubai to tackling tech startups in Silicon Valley, our students traverse the globe, building businesses and making a tangible impact. At Tetr, the world is your classroom.

If this excites you, and you resonate with our vision, then we’d love for you to come and build with us.

About this role

As an International Admissions Counsellor, you will be the face and voice of Tetr for prospective undergraduate students and their families in your assigned market.

You will engage with students, understand their aspirations, academic background, interests, and career goals, and guide them through a consultative admissions journey — from initial enquiry to application and enrolment.

This is not a transactional sales role. It requires the ability to build trust with students and parents, understand their motivations, communicate the value of a global undergraduate education, and consistently drive the admissions pipeline towards conversion.

The role will be region-specific, with counsellors responsible for building and managing relationships within their assigned geography and working across relevant international time zones.

Specifically, this role will involve
  • Engage with prospective students and parents through consultative, needs-based conversations.
  • Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, aspirations, and long-term career goals.
  • Act as an advisor throughout the admissions journey, helping students and families make informed decisions.
  • Clearly communicate Tetr's academic philosophy, global exposure, student experience, career opportunities, and overall value proposition.
  • Manage the complete admissions funnel, from initial enquiry and counselling through application, offer, and enrolment.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective students within the assigned region.
  • Follow up consistently with students and parents and drive conversions through a structured admissions process.
  • Develop strong relationships with students, parents, schools, counsellors, and other relevant stakeholders in the region.
  • Understand the local education ecosystem, student preferences, and competitive landscape within the assigned market.
  • Work closely with the Admissions, Marketing, Student Experience, and Leadership teams to improve regional outreach and conversion.
  • Provide market insights and feedback to help refine Tetr's messaging, positioning, and admissions strategy.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and ensure timely updates on all prospective student interactions.
  • Represent Tetr's brand, values, and standards across every interaction.
  • Work independently across international time zones and adapt to the requirements of the assigned region
Ideal candidate will have
  • 2–6 years of experience in admissions counselling, education consulting, international student recruitment, consultative sales, or a related field.
  • Experience working with students and/or parents in an advisory or counselling capacity.
  • Strong understanding of the international education ecosystem and student decision-making processes.
  • Experience working with students from the assigned region/market is strongly preferred.
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High EQ and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with both students and parents.
  • Strong follow-through, ownership, and persistence across a longer admissions cycle.
  • Ability to work with students and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes.
  • Experience with international admissions, premium education, study-abroad counselling, or high-value sales is a strong plus.
  • Fluency and strong professional proficiency in Spanish is mandatory.
