Job summary

Standard Chartered in Dubai seeks a Trade Finance Specialist to support transactors, drive revenue targets, and manage pipeline submissions. You will prepare memos, responses to requests for proposals, pitch books, and structured trade documentation.

Collaborate with SST transactors to structure, price, and negotiate deals, coordinating with legal, risk, and operations to ensure robust, compliant execution of open account, warehouse, and documentary trade transactions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of trade products and structuring capabilities.
• Broad banking experience with exposure to clients in Africa and the Middle East.
• Proven ability to lead discussions with internal stakeholders including RM teams, credit, CRC and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop structures and prepare pitch books and RfPs to meet clients financing needs.
• Negotiate term sheets with the client and vet underlying contracts.
• Engage with internal and external counsel to ensure robust documentation.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure smooth draw downs.
• Prepare pre-screening memos and credit memos to communicate risks and revenues.
