Job summary

Standard Chartered in Dubai is seeking an experienced Trade Operations leader to drive end-to-end trade processing, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance. You will manage cross-functional stakeholders, optimize controls, and embed risk-aware practices across AME regions.

The role requires strong leadership, detailed knowledge of Trade Finance products, and a focus on client service excellence within a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capabilities with data-driven decision making.
• Experience in Trade Operations and end-to-end process management.
• In-depth knowledge of Trade Finance products and related regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with proven stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Trade Operations team to deliver accurate processing and timely settlements.
• Ensure compliance with AML, sanctions, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with RMs, GBS, and country stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Oversee MI, control recons, and remediation tasks with attention to risk and governance.
• Drive process improvements and cost efficiency while maintaining high service quality.
