Job summary

Litco Industries in Dubai is seeking a technically skilled Structural Design Engineer / Steel Structural Engineer / Structural Analysis Engineer to join our engineering team. The role focuses on steel design for industrial facilities, warehouses, and PE projects, with emphasis on STAAD Pro and related software.

You will perform load calculations, develop analysis models, review drawings, coordinate with detailers, and ensure compliance with international codes and local authority requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in structural steel design and analysis.
• Proficiency with STAAD Pro is essential.
• Familiarity with ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, RAM Connection or similar tools is advantageous.
• Knowledge of international design codes (AISC, ASCE, Eurocodes, BS) and local requirements.
• Ability to prepare design calculations and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures for industrial facilities.
• Carry out load calculations including dead, live, wind, seismic, and equipment loads.
• Develop analysis models using STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000 or equivalents.
• Review drawings and coordinate with detailers, fabricators, and project managers.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and client requirements.
