Job summary

LITCO Industries is seeking a Design Engineer with experience in structural steel, steel fabrication, and metal works. You will be responsible for structural design, engineering calculations, and review of drawings, coordinating with fabrication and production teams to ensure designs are practical for manufacturing and installation.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in structural steel design or steel fabrication.
• Strong experience in steel structures and metal works.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural designs and calculations for steel structures and metal works.
• Develop and review GA drawings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and erection drawings.
• Coordinate with BIM, detailing, fabrication, production, and QA/QC teams.
• Ensure designs comply with project specs, standards, and codes.
• Review drawings and identify technical requirements or discrepancies.
