Zusammenfassung

Middle East Factory LLC in Dubai is seeking an experienced Steel Structural Design Engineer to join our team. You will perform structural analysis and design of steel structures in line with international codes and project specs, delivering calculations and technical submissions.

You will carry out steel connection design using IDEA StatiCa, coordinate with drafting, fabrication and project teams, and liaise with authorities to obtain design approvals.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
Extensive experience in steel structure analysis and design.
Knowledge of ASCE 7, AISC 360, BS EN (Eurocodes), DM Codes, IBC/UBC.
Experience coordinating with authorities and obtaining approvals.
Strong communication and reporting skills.

Aufgaben

Perform structural analysis and design of steel structures per codes and project specs.
Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and technical submissions.
Carry out steel connection design using IDEA StatiCa.
Coordinate with drafting, fabrication and project teams to meet design requirements.
Liaise with authorities and obtain necessary design approvals.
Review fabrication drawings and provide technical support to resolve site-related design issues.
Perform verification of connection forces, bolt capacities, weld strengths, and edge-distance effects.
Design anchor bolt systems considering tension, shear, and various loading conditions.
