Job summary

Caliberly is seeking an Assistant Manager – Key Clients (Sales) to manage strategic customer relationships in the shipping and logistics sector from our Dubai base. You will drive revenue growth, identify new opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver seamless service for major customers.

The role emphasizes building long-term relationships, achieving commercial targets, and expanding the share of business with key accounts while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related field.
• 5–8 years in sales or key account management within shipping/logistics.
• Experience managing large corporate accounts.
• Knowledge of container shipping operations and freight markets.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and negotiate commercial terms.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Excellent English communication; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned key clients to drive growth and retention.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve client requirements and issues.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, rate agreements, and sales presentations.
• Negotiate rates, service terms, and commercial agreements while maintaining margins.
• Monitor sales performance and address gaps against targets.
• Conduct client meetings and business reviews to assess performance and opportunities.
