Job summary

SGS is looking for a Business Development Executive – Tracking & Telematics Solutions to drive growth in the UAE fleet management and telematics market. You will cultivate strategic relationships with car rental companies, leasing providers, corporate fleets and government entities to expand our sensing and mobility offerings.

The role requires a commercial mindset, UAE market knowledge, and the ability to present proposals, negotiate terms and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT or related field; MBA beneficial.
• 2–3 years in business development or sales in fleet telematics, GPS/vehicle tracking, mobility tech or IoT.
• Proven experience selling to car rental, leasing, corporate fleets or government customers.
• Understanding of UAE regulatory tracking programmes and fleet compliance.
• Experience with government or semi-government entities and smart mobility projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new opportunities in fleet management, vehicle tracking and telematics.
• Build and maintain relationships with car rental, leasing, corporate fleets and government entities.
• Promote tracking solutions aligned with customer needs and UAE regulations.
• Develop business opportunities around government tracking programmes (SIRA, DoT, emirate rules).
• Prepare sales proposals, deliver presentations, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Monitor market trends and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered.
