Job summary

SGS in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Business Development Executive for Tracking & Telematics Solutions to drive growth across fleet management and smart mobility sectors. The role focuses on establishing strategic client relationships with car rental companies, leasing providers, corporate fleets and government entities in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will understand UAE vehicle tracking requirements, regulatory programmes and have 2–3 years in fleet telematics or IoT sales.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
2–3 years of business development or sales experience in fleet telematics or IoT
Experience selling to car rental companies, leasing providers or corporate fleets
Understanding of UAE regulatory tracking programmes and government frameworks
Experience engaging with government or semi-government entities is desirable
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills
Excellent English communication; Arabic is an advantage
Valid UAE driving license

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in fleet management and telematics solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with car rental companies, leasing providers, corporate fleets and government entities.
Promote tracking and telematics solutions aligned with customer needs and UAE regulatory requirements.
Develop opportunities related to government tracking programmes including SIRA and DoT topics.
Prepare sales proposals, deliver presentations, negotiate terms and convert opportunities into business.
Monitor market trends and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and solutions are delivered effectively.
