Job summary

Zajel is seeking a Business Development Executive in Freight Forwarding to serve as the main liaison between the company and its clients. You will answer queries, advise, and introduce new products while building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.

The role involves developing strategies with the Sales Director, targeting new and existing clients, coordinating proposals, and delivering high-quality service through product knowledge and effective planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or High School with more than 3 years’ experience.
• Experience in service industry and logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generates, maintains and monitors a robust sales pipeline to generate new business and report to senior management.
• Attends forecast meetings and assists in developing sales strategy.
• Builds and promotes strong client relationships by understanding their needs and logging feedback.
• Prepares timely MIS statements and reports as required.
• Ensures policies and procedures are followed and contributes to continuous improvement.
• Maintains knowledge of Zajel’s products and services to drive sales objectives.
