Role: Storekeeper (Inventory Controller)
About The Opportunity
A company operating in the Management Consulting and Facilities & Supply Chain Operations sector, delivering operational and inventory‑control services across projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role is fully on‑site and supports high‑velocity materials handling, stock accuracy, and compliance for multi‑site operations. This position is ideal for detail‑oriented candidates who ensure audit‑ready stores and efficient material flow.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials; ensure correct labeling, documentation, and storage per SOPs.
- Operate Warehouse Management System (WMS) and barcode/RF scanning tools to update stock ledgers and trigger replenishment actions.
- Perform regular stock reconciliations, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations; raise and follow up on GRN/NRs and adjustments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for internal distribution or customer dispatch while maintaining FIFO/expiry controls and packing standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and site teams to prioritize allocations and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety standards, and compliance for store areas; support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
Must‑Have
- High school diploma or equivalent and proven storekeeping/warehouse experience in a commercial or operations environment.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management System (WMS) operations and barcode/RF scanning workflows.
- Experienced with inventory control processes: stock reconciliation, cycle counting, FIFO and expiry management.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for stock reports, reconciliation, and basic data analysis.
- Familiarity with SAP MM or similar ERP inventory modules for GRN, stock transfers, and reporting.
- Ability to work on‑site in the UAE, follow safety procedures, and lift/manage materials per site guidelines.
Preferred
- Experience with Oracle ERP or advanced WMS implementations.
- Forklift operation experience or certification.
- Previous exposure to audit processes and inventory loss prevention programs.
