Job summary

Marriott International in Abu Dhabi seeks a kitchen operations leader to manage daily utilities, dishroom, cleaning, and banquet support. You will supervise non-cooking staff and strive to maximize guest and employee satisfaction while adhering to budget constraints.

Role requires a high school diploma with 4 years in F&B or a 2-year degree with 2 years of related experience. You will coordinate with Banquet and culinary teams to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in procurement, food & beverage, culinary, or related area.
• OR a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management with 2 years experience in procurement, F&B, culinary, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily kitchen utility operations and staff.
• Oversees dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance, banquet plating and food running.
• Supervises kitchen employees not actively engaged in cooking; ensures supplies, equipment, and uniforms are available.
• Monitors budgets and payroll progress reports to support department financial goals.
• Interacts with vendors and Health Department representatives as required.
• Ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
