Job summary

Marriott International’s Le Méridien brand in Abu Dhabi seeks a Kitchen Operations Supervisor to lead daily restaurant utility activities and supervising support staff. You will ensure supplies, equipment, and cleanliness standards are met while supporting guest satisfaction and budget targets.

The role focuses on guiding dish room, back dock, and banquet servicing, maintaining safety and quality across all kitchen support areas. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership and staff supervision experience in a hotel/kitchen setting.
• Strong inventory and cost-control capabilities.
• Knowledge of sanitation and food-handling standards.
• Experience coordinating day-to-day kitchen operations and events.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen utility operations and staff.
• Oversee dish room operations, night cleaning, and back dock cleaning.
• Supervise non-cooking staff and ensure supplies, equipment and uniforms are available.
• Schedule events and activities; manage department budgets and controllable expenses.
• Enforce food-handling, sanitation standards and loss-prevention policies.
• Provide guidance and performance feedback to subordinates and recruits.
