Job summary

Independent Food Company in the UAE is recruiting multiple Sous Chef positions to support existing teams and build new ones as part of pre-opening. You will assist the Head Chef in running the BOH effectively, ensuring high standards of food and service for guests.

Ideal candidates come from a high-volume kitchen and have experience with Arabic, French, or Italian cuisine, with strong communication abilities to work within diverse teams.

Responsibilities

We currently have a number of exciting Sous Chef positions across the UAE supporting existing teams as well as building new teams as part of pre-opening. Supporting the Head Chef in running the BOH effectively, our Sous Chefs play a vital role in ensuring the food we produce for our guests is of the highest standards. Some key responsibilities:

• Ensure the kitchen is managed efficiently and professionally, and that the teams are fully prepared and ready for each service

• Effectively manage stock, storage, equipment as per SOPs - working with relevant stakeholders to overcome any issues

To be considered for this role, you will come from a high-cover environment with experience working with either Arabic, French or Italian cuisine. Given the diversity of our teams, strong communication skills are essential.
