Job summary

Independent Food Company in the UAE is recruiting multiple Sous Chef positions to support existing teams and build new ones as part of pre-opening. You will assist the Head Chef in running the BOH effectively, ensuring high standards of food and service for guests.

Ideal candidates come from a high-volume kitchen and have experience with Arabic, French, or Italian cuisine, with strong communication abilities to work within diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments.
• Experience with Arabic, French or Italian cuisine.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the kitchen is managed efficiently and professionally, and that the teams are fully prepared and ready for each service.
• Provide support and training to all members of the BOH team with a strong emphasis in supporting career development.
• Effectively manage stock, storage and equipment per SOPs, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to overcome issues.
