Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in shipping, logistics, or freight operations.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Good understanding of customs clearance and freight forwarding processes.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/shipping systems.
• UAE experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shipping and logistics operations.
• Coordinate local and international shipments with clients, suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
• Plan and monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and related paperwork.
• Coordinate with customs clearance teams and ensure required documentation is complete.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve delays, damages, or delivery issues.
• Negotiate and coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable shipping and customs requirements.
• Supervise shipping staff and coordinate daily workloads.
• Prepare shipping reports and provide updates to management.
