Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks a Logistics Assistant to plan and coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities. You will prepare shipping, import/export documentation and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires 1–2 years in logistics, freight forwarding, or related operations, plus knowledge of import/export docs and customs procedures. Experience with Dubai Trade, Calogi, and Dubai Municipality is a plus.

Qualifications

• A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs procedures is an advantage.
• Experience with logistics management systems (Dubai Trade, Calogi, Dubai Municipality) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
• Prepare and process shipping, import, export, and customs documentation.
• Track shipments and monitor deliveries to ensure timely arrival.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal departments regarding shipment status.
• Support warehouse operations, including receiving, packing, labeling, inventory checks, and dispatching goods.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and update shipment information in company systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance, inventory, and transportation costs.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
• Provide general administrative support to the logistics team.
