Job summary

Squares International Trading FZCO in Dubai seeks an experienced Shipping Operations Manager to oversee daily shipping, optimize fulfillment, and reduce costs.

You will lead a team of shipping associates, build carrier relationships, and implement TMS/WMS solutions to improve speed and accuracy in a demanding UAE market.

Qualifications

Oversee and optimize daily shipping operations ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer demands Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to reduce transportation costs and improve delivery speed Manage and mentor a team of shipping associates fostering a productive and safe work environment Establish and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers to negotiate favorable rates and service agreements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.5-7 years of progressive experience in shipping and logistics operations, preferably within the [specific industry, e.g., e-commerce, manufacturing] sector.Proven track record of managing and developing teams, with strong leadership and motivational skills.Expertise in transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).

• UAE (Dubai) shipping industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience in freight forwarding, import/export operations, and NVOCC.
• Must be capable of independently handling shipping operations.
• Nationality: Indian candidates only.
• Salary budget: Up to AED 6,000 per month. We are also open to candidates with lower salary expectations, provided they meet the required experience and skill set.
