Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island in the UAE is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee Race and Sportsbook operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service and adherence to internal controls.

You will supervise Supervisors and Writers, coach performance, and manage wagering activity, payouts, and guest interactions with a focus on satisfaction and compliance. Evening and weekend flexibility required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Hospitality, Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field
• 4–6 years in sportsbook, casino operations, or luxury hospitality
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or shift management role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee Race and Sportsbook operations during assigned shifts
• Supervise and support Supervisors and Writers, providing guidance and feedback
• Monitor wagering activity, payouts, and cash handling for accuracy and compliance
• Resolve escalated guest concerns or disputes with professionalism
• Conduct pre-shift briefings with operational updates and service expectations
• Ensure the Race and Sportsbook counter is staffed, organized, and stocked
• Collaborate with Marketing, Guest Services, and Slot Operations for events
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global sporting events and betting trends
• Prepare shift reports documenting updates, feedback, and irregularities
• Enforce Wynn Resorts service standards, AML protocols, and UAE gaming regulations

About the Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Shift Manager to join the Race amp Sports strong strong team The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are

• Direct and oversee Race and Sportsbook operations during assigned shifts ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery
• Supervise and support Supervisors and Writers providing guidance coaching and performance feedback
• Monitor wagering activity payouts and cash handling to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations
• Resolve escalated guest concerns or disputes with professionalism discretion and a focus on guest satisfaction
• Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate operational updates event highlights and service expectations
• Ensure the Race and Sportsbook counter is fully staffed organized and stocked with wagering guides odds sheets and promotional materials
• Collaborate with Marketing Guest Services and Slot Operations to support promotions tournaments and special events
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global sporting events racing schedules and betting trends to anticipate guest needs
• Prepare shift reports documenting key operational updates guest feedback and any irregularities
• Enforce Wynn Resorts service standards AML protocols and UAE gaming regulations

About You:

• Bachelor s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
• 4 6 years of experience in sportsbook, casino operations, or luxury hospitality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or shift management role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
• Solid knowledge of sports, racing formats, and betting terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with sportsbook or casino management systems is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during major sporting events.
• Must meet all regulatory requirements for licensing and compliance.
