Job summary

AECOM, a global infrastructure leader, is seeking a senior ARE – Wet Utilities professional to supervise the construction of sewerage, stormwater, potable water, and related networks within major projects in the UAE. You will coordinate with the design team, QA/QC, and authorities to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.

The role requires leading discipline engineers, inspectors, and surveyors, managing contractor progress, and resolving constructability

Qualifications

• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with QA/QC procedures and inspection requirements.
• Capability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities for sewerage, stormwater, potable water, irrigation, and related wet utilities.
• Review and monitor works against IFC/shop drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate installation of pipelines, manholes, chambers, and pumping facilities.
• Monitor excavation, bedding, jointing, backfilling, and reinstatement activities.
• Identify utility clashes and coordinate their timely resolution.
• Liaise with Client, Contractor, Design Team and authorities for inspections and approvals.
