Job summary

AECOM in Al Ain, UAE, seeks an experienced ARE – Wet Utilities supervisor to oversee sewerage, stormwater, potable water, irrigation networks on a large infrastructure project. You will ensure conformance with IFC/shop drawings, specs, QA/QC, HSE and authority requirements.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 10–15 years of UAE/GCC project experience, strong coordination and stakeholder management, and ability to lead site teams and coordinate with TAQA Water Solutions and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in infrastructure projects, with emphasis on sewerage networks and utility works.
• Experience in the UAE/GCC and familiarity withTAQA Water Solutions standards is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities for sewerage, stormwater, potable water, irrigation, and related networks.
• Review works against IFC/shop drawings, specifications, method statements, material approvals, and ITPs.
• Coordinate installation of pipelines, manholes, chambers, and pumping facilities.
• Monitor excavation, bedding, pipe laying, jointing, backfilling, and reinstatement.
• Verify alignments, levels, and coordinates with the Survey Team.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities (hydrostatic, leakage, CCTV, etc.).
• Review RFIs, technical queries, and construction-related submissions.
• Identify clashes and interface constraints; coordinate timely resolutions.
• Liaise with Client, Contractor, Design Team, and authorities including TAQA WS.
• Provide technical direction to discipline Engineers, Inspectors, and Surveyors.
