Project Risk Management

• Lead the Project Risk Management discipline and provide direction and advice to Group Companies on risk management integration matters.
• Serve as Group Technical Authority Level 1 for Project Risk Management.
• Manage the development of Project Risk Management standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Develop, update and maintain the technical and organizational framework for Project Risk Management.
• Maintain competency management and assessment frameworks related to the discipline.
• Lead implementation of the Technical Authority Framework for Project Risk Management roles across ADNOC Group, including appointment of individual Group Company Technical Authorities.
• Develop and maintain the Project Risk Management knowledge community across Group Companies.
• Establish and strengthen the Project Risk Management Community of Practice.
• Provide specialist technical risk management advice to Group Companies managing project portfolios.
• Support projects within an appropriate risk framework to help achieve agreed scope, cost, time, operability, quality and safety objectives.
• Assess significant risks associated with the ADNOC Capital Program.
• Report key capital project risks to relevant internal and external stakeholders, including GPE leadership, the ERM function and other leadership structures requiring capital project risk reporting.
• Work with other Senior Specialists to integrate Project Risk Management knowledge into the ADNOC Group Value Assurance Process and Integrated Project Management System.

Risk Governance and Leadership

• Lead and set the direction for oversight and execution of ADNOC Project Risk Management activities.
• Maintain continuous oversight of the implementation of the Project Risk Management Framework across ADNOC.
• Promote and strengthen a project risk-aware culture through ongoing risk management initiatives.
• Review ADNOC 's major project risks and associated risk action plans.
• Prepare and present project risk information to ADNOC leadership when required.
• Work with Directorates and Group Companies to establish, maintain and continuously improve Project Risk Management capabilities.

Department Management

• Plan and supervise Department personnel, activities and resources to achieve Division objectives efficiently and with appropriate cost awareness.
• Ensure approved Department operational plans are implemented in alignment with Division objectives.
• Develop knowledge, competencies and innovation within the Department.
• Support Personal Development Plans, succession planning and talent pipeline activities in coordination with the Human Capability Group, with emphasis on developing UAE Nationals in support of Emiratization targets.

Risk Systems and Technology

• Oversee the design and implementation of the iPAD Risk Management Module.
• Continuously assess Project Risk Management software capabilities against market requirements.
• Evaluate, test and support procurement of appropriate project cost and schedule risk management software.
• Maintain effective use of systems and tools supporting quantitative and qualitative project risk analysis.

Budgets and Operational Plans

• Provide input for preparation of Division budgets.
• Monitor expenditure against approved Department budget levels.
• Investigate and highlight significant budget variances.
• Support reconciliation and corrective actions to maintain effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems and Procedures

• Lead implementation of approved Department policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls to support execution of Division work programs in accordance with Company and international standards.

Performance and Organisation Development

• Implement the Company Performance Management System for Department personnel in accordance with approved guidelines.
• Monitor achievement of Department KPIs associated with the Annual Performance Management Contract and Balanced Score Card.
• Review, develop and recommend an appropriate Department organization structure.
• Support effective utilization of human capital while incorporating sustainability into ongoing work practices.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Encourage innovation and employee motivation within the Department.
• Support Change Management initiatives aimed at continuously improving operations and services.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes against recognized best practices.
• Pursue greater efficiency in accordance with applicable ISO standards.

Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability

• Support establishment of a strong HSE culture across the Department.
• Ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, systems and controls.
• Maintain alignment with applicable legislation, sustainability guidelines, international standards, best practices and ADNOC Codes of Practice.
• Ensure appropriate HSE training and induction for Department employees.

Management Information and Reporting

• Prepare Department MIS and progress reports accurately and on time, providing Company Management with the information required to monitor performance and manage the business effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor 's Degree in Engineering.
• An advanced professional degree in Project Risk Management, Project Management or Engineering is preferred.
• 15 years of experience within Oil and Gas projects.
• Experience across Project Management and Project Risk Management at project, business unit and corporate levels.
• Subject Matter Expert knowledge of Project Risk Management applied to Oil and Gas Capital Projects.
• PMI Risk Management Professional - PMI-RMP certification is preferred.
• Project Management Professional - PMP certification is preferred.
