Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive in Dubai seeks an experienced Service Advisor for Generators and Marine Engines. You will translate customer concerns into workshop instructions, guide repairs, prepare quotes, and drive service revenue while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has eight+ years in an authorized OEM dealership, five+ years as a Service Advisor, and strong English communication; Arabic is advantageous. Office-based automotive environment with ISO-aligned processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in automobile, marine, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Eight years of relevant experience with an authorized OEM dealership.
• At least five years as a Service Advisor; generators or marine engines preferred.
• Strong English communication; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consult customers and technicians to understand faults and service needs.
• Translate requests into accurate workshop instructions and orders.
• Explain repair options, costs and completion times to customers.
• Prepare quotations and service reports for review.
• Follow up to secure approvals and prevent delays.
• Coordinate workshop and spare-parts to stay within time and cost limits.
• Monitor open work orders and ensure invoicing and closure.
• Review equipment history and recommend preventive maintenance.
