About the Role

We are building a new, high-impact team to drive the growth of our Global Partnerships business and are looking for a Sales Engineer to focus on our PayFac and ISO partnerships.

  • You will be the ‘voice of the customer’ to internal teams, build systems and processes that ensure seamless flow of information across different functions in the company.

What you will do

  • Be a Technical Strategist : Partner with the Rapyd Sales and Relationship Management teams as the technical expert. Discover and understand client requirements to tailor solutions leveraging Rapyd’s product suite and platform capabilities.
  • Deliver Engaging Demos : Conduct compelling technical presentations and demonstrations as the subject matter expert to explain Rapyd’s products, showcasing their value proposition.
  • Own the Technical Win : Lead technical discussions, answer in-depth questions, and build confidence in Rapyd's platform during the sales cycle.
  • Guide Seamless Integrations : Be a trusted advisor for client integrations, creating and managing integration plans, providing technical guidance, best practices, and hands-on support to ensure successful go-live for our partners.
  • Be a Product Champion : Serve as a voice of the customer, observing trends, capturing feedback and carrying insights from our partners to our product teams, to influence the product roadmap and ensure Rapyd’s platform is market-leading.
  • Create Developer Content : Collaborate with our Marketing and Developer Relations teams to refine technical documentation, integration guides, knowledge base articles / videos to empower our partners and internal teams.
  • Be the Architect and Builder : As a high performer, you will take the lead in defining processes, establishing cross-functional workflows with other teams to improve efficiency and productivity, train and mentor junior members of the team as we grow.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve : Represent Rapyd and our product offerings at conferences, events and client meetings, and continuously deepen your expertise in the payments landscape.

Requirements

What we are looking for

  • 5+ Years of Experience : As a Solutions Engineer, Implementation Engineer or similar client-facing tech roles, preferably within the Payments industry or SaaS.
  • Technical Background : 3+ years hands-on coding experience with proficiency in any popular language. Expertise in integrating B2B APIs, debugging, log analysis and troubleshooting.
  • High Degree of Ownership : Growth mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities on a daily basis. Balance strategic thinking and perfectionism versus making progress and getting things done.
  • Communication & Customer Focus : You can articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience, are obsessed with keeping communication channels active and empathetic to customer needs, able to rally internal teams behind the customer.
  • Leader and Team Player : You are stellar at what you do and take pride in your work. You will have the freedom, flexibility and support from your line manager to build things your way, provided you prioritize the team’s needs above your own.
  • Bonus Points : If you provide a personalised cover letter in your application. A human reads every application, no fancy tools.
