This role will work on daily assignments closely with the SPM/PM to assist and support effective management of the team, specific tasks, and small projects. This role involves providing support in planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring activities, and team interfaces to achieve project goals, and to deliver results efficiently. Plays a key role in facilitating communication, resolving issues, contributing to the overall success of the project delivery team, working with multiple stakeholders across all stages of project delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of departments and team goals with project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the SPM/PM in leading and guiding team members to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborating with the SPM/PM in planning, executing, and monitoring daily tasks and initiatives.
- Assisting in project coordination, tracking progress, and to monitor the assigned tasks and projects.
- Monitor day-to-day operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with established procedures and standards.
- Facilitate communication within the team and with other departments or team members. Relay information, updates, and directives from the SPM/PM to team members.
- Help addressing issues, conflicts, and challenges that arise within the team, seeking solutions and escalating matters to the SPM/PM when necessary.
- Support in creating regular reports on the project status to be submitted to the management.
- Maintain accurate records, documents, and reports related to project activities and performance.
- Contribute to the development and execution of departmental strategies and objectives.
- Skills in coordinating and managing small projects, including planning, organizing, and tracking progress.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with the SPM/PM and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support during the project delivery.
- Liaise internally with other departments such as development, procurement, design, project services, operation, finance etc. for clarity on certain aspects of the project’s tasks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
- Management and coordination with consultants and authorities.
- Preparing correspondence to the stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction or project management, or a related field.
- 3 -5 years of experience in consultancy, coordinator role, project management, and/or site operations.
- Good proficiency and working experience on tools such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, AutoCAD, InDesign, Preparation of Charts, Maps, etc. and overall data management.
