Job summary

Careerwebsite is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to head PMO activities for FEED and subsequent phases in Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore GCC projects. The role requires overseeing planning, cost control, forecasting, reporting, and risk management across multidisciplinary teams.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in project controls, experience with EPC/PMC entities, and a strong engineering background.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Project Controls/Management.
• Experience with EPC/PMC organizations.
• Oil & Gas and Marine Onshore GCC knowledge.
• Engineering background preferred.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong planning, scheduling, cost control and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Project Controls function across FEED and later phases.
• Develop and maintain planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting systems.
• Oversee cost control, forecasting, budget monitoring, and performance reporting.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commercial, and Project Management to monitor performance.
• Establish baselines, milestones, schedules, progress, and KPIs.
• Produce timely reports, dashboards, forecasts, and management reporting.
• Monitor deliverables and ensure alignment with schedules and objectives.
• Identify schedule, cost, and performance risks and implement mitigations.
• Manage change control and assess impacts on cost and schedule.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary Project Controls teams.
• Support project management in identifying delays, trends, variances and concerns.
• Ensure documentation and reporting throughout lifecycle.
• Support close-out, handover and final reporting.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and resolve project controls issues.
• Maintain standards of technical quality, reporting accuracy, compliance, and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
