Job summary

ALPLA Group in Dubai seeks a seasoned Business Development professional to identify and develop new market segments, build strong customer relationships, and organize meetings and visits to cultivate new accounts. You will coordinate with Corporate and BUs on project plans and market initiatives, plan exhibitions, and analyze market trends to drive growth.

The role requires 7+ years in BD or sales in manufacturing, with strong B2B experience, Arabic and English fluency, and advanced MS Office

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in business development or sales in a manufacturing/mass packaging environment.
Experience in the plastic packaging industry is a plus.
Proven B2B sales and account management experience.
Strong analytical and market research skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Fluent in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities and market segments to achieve company growth targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Organize customer meetings and visits to identify business opportunities and develop new accounts.
Coordinate with Corporate and relevant Business Units on project plans and market initiatives.
Plan and coordinate exhibitions and marketing activities to support market expansion.
Monitor and analyze plastic packaging market trends within FMCG and Oil & Gas sectors.
Conduct market segmentation and identify specific customer and segment requirements.
Develop segment-specific packaging solutions in collaboration with the relevant BUs.
Develop and maintain a solution catalogue to support the Sales team.
Support sales teams through training on the effective use of the solution catalogue.
Present and promote existing and new packaging solutions to newly acquired customers.
Prepare sales price calculations in coordination with Corporate, local Sales, and ALPLA production plants.
Prepare and manage budgets for market development activities, including market research and prototypes.
Expand ALPLA's market presence and strengthen business development activities.
