Job summary

ALPLA PLASTIC MIDDLE EAST INDUSTRIES L.L.C. in Dubai seeks a senior Business Development professional to drive market growth and expand the customer base in plastic packaging for FMCG and energy sectors.

You will lead market research, build strategic relationships, and coordinate with global BUs to deliver tailored packaging solutions and pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in business development or sales in manufacturing or packaging industries.

Dubai / Dubai / United Arab Emirates /Sales & Business Development/Full time

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and market segments to achieve company growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Organize customer meetings and visits to identify business opportunities and develop new accounts.
• Coordinate with Corporate and relevant Business Units (BUs) on project plans and market initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate exhibitions and marketing activities to support market expansion.
• Monitor and analyze plastic packaging market trends, particularly within the FMCG and Oil & Gas sectors.
• Conduct market segmentation and identify specific customer and segment requirements.
• Develop segment-specific packaging solutions in collaboration with the relevant BUs.
• Develop and maintain a solution catalogue to support the Sales team.
• Support sales teams through training on the effective use of the solution catalogue.
• Present and promote existing and new packaging solutions to newly acquired customers.
• Prepare sales price calculations in coordination with Corporate, local Sales, and ALPLA production plants.
• Prepare and manage budgets for market development activities, including market research and prototypes.
• Expand ALPLA's market presence and strengthen business development activities.

What makes you great

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Business Development or Sales within a manufacturing environment, preferably in mass packaging products, serving both domestic and international markets and clients.
• Experience in the plastic packaging industry is an advantage.
• Proven experience in B2B business development, sales, or account management is required.
• Strong analytical and market research skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent command of both Arabic and English.
