Job summary

Top Notch Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated Business Unit Manager to drive sales through business development and sales force management. You will ensure customers receive the right services, identify new markets and leads, and pitch prospects in the UAE.

The role covers budgeting, P&L oversight, strategy, team expansion to 5 salespersons, hiring and training, and coordinating with operations to maintain service levels. Fluent English required; additional languages a plus.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in operations or sales within freight forwarding, with prior management roles.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills.
• Excellent English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts with full P&L and targets.
• Develop sales plans to expand customer base and market share.
• Onboard clients and manage relationships with customers, carriers, vendors.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the unit (sales, customer service, freight management).
• Create reports to track performance and support SOPs with QA.
