Job summary

Amazon UAE is seeking a Logistics Leader for the Special Handling Network to oversee multi-site AMXL operations. You will lead Area Managers and frontline teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with SOPs and performance standards across facilities in Dubai and the broader UAE.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, Lean methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to strengthen reliability, customer experience, and network efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of employee and performance management experience in an operational environment.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification is required; candidates with at least two years of Amazon full-time employee experience may also meet qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational oversight across multiple AMXL Special Handling Network locations.
• Manage and develop Area Managers, Operations Supervisors, and frontline teams.
• Deploy continuous improvement standards across sites with MENA Process Owners and local managers.
• Monitor site performance and identify gaps requiring corrective action.
• Develop and implement improvements to strengthen productivity, service quality, and network consistency.
• Conduct audits against SOPs and compliance standards; translate findings into actions.
• Train supervisors and associates on operating practices and compliance expectations.
• Maintain clear direction when deviations from norms occur.
• Ensure effective communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Consolidate data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Apply Lean principles to reduce waste and improve flow.
• Support network launches with readiness planning and milestone tracking.
• Maintain relationships across sites and stakeholder groups.
• Provide leadership visibility into performance and improvement activities.
