Qualifications

Role Context

The Logistics Leader will manage operational performance across Amazon 's Special Handling Network, supporting AMXL activities designed for products requiring specialized fulfillment, transportation, or delivery processes. By identifying performance patterns, conducting detailed audits, and converting operational data into improvement actions, the Logistics Leader will help strengthen reliability, efficiency, safety, and customer experience across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational oversight across multiple AMXL Special Handling Network locations.


• Manage and develop Area Managers, Operations Supervisors, and frontline operational teams.


• Deploy continuous improvement standards across assigned sites in coordination with MENA Process Owners, MENA ACES, and local Process Managers.


• Monitor site performance and identify operational gaps requiring corrective action.


• Develop and implement improvements that strengthen productivity, service quality, and network consistency.


• Conduct operational audits against established SOPs, requirements, restrictions, and compliance standards.


• Analyze audit results and translate findings into practical process improvement initiatives.


• Track adherence to operational standards and ensure corrective actions are completed within appropriate timelines.


• Train Logistics Supervisors and associates on operating practices, procedures, and compliance expectations.


• Provide clear direction to teams when deviations from established norms are identified.


• Maintain effective communication between internal Amazon teams and external stakeholders.


• Protect business objectives, confidentiality, operational limits, and information privacy when coordinating across stakeholder groups.


• Consolidate data from multiple operational sources to identify trends, recurring problems, and improvement opportunities.
