Job summary

Amazon UAE in Dubai is seeking a Manager – Special Handling Logistics to lead the network across large-capacity facilities. You will drive performance, compliance, and continuous improvement while developing teams and maintaining network standards.

The role requires leadership of Area Managers and supervisors, strong data analytics, and a focus on safety, quality, and customer experience. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of management at scale are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of employee and performance management experience.
• Proven experience leading managers, supervisors, or frontline teams.
• Experience monitoring multiple logistics, fulfillment, distribution, or transportation sites is advantageous.
• Strong ability to interpret performance data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational oversight across assigned Special Handling Network sites.
• Monitor site performance, compliance, workflow stability, productivity, and customer-service indicators.
• Own deployment of continuous improvement standards across the network.
• Identify operational gaps and implement improvements across locations.
• Lead Area Managers, Operations Supervisors, and supporting teams.
• Set expectations for safety, productivity, quality, and customer experience.
• Coach managers on performance management and operational discipline.
• Train supervisors on SOPs, network requirements, and approved practices.
• Ensure teams understand compliance requirements and escalation procedures.
• Conduct site audits and review findings to identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• Develop corrective and preventive actions after findings.
• Analyze performance metrics from multiple systems and locations.
• Communicate operational concerns and provide recovery recommendations.
• Support new site launches and network-expansion initiatives.
• Apply Lean methods to reduce waste and variation across sites.
