Job summary

SmartChoice is seeking a driven Senior Recruitment Consultant focused on the US IT market. You will own new business development, identify opportunities, and secure new logo accounts across software engineering, cloud, data, AI and security.

You will build strong relationships with hiring managers and procurement teams, generating recruitment opportunities and leading end-to-end client engagements from discovery to placement.

Senior Recruitment Consultant - US Market

SmartChoice are seeking a driven IT Recruitment Consultant to focus exclusively on acquiring new clients and generating new business opportunities. This is a sales-focused role centred on securing new logo accounts, building relationships with hiring managers, and creating recruitment opportunities across the IT sector across the US.

You’ll be responsible for developing your own technology market, partnering with leading organisations across the US, and delivering specialist technology professionals across areas such as Software Engineering, Cloud, Data, AI and Cyber Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and win new client accounts within the IT and technology market.
• Generate leads through proactive business development, networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, and cold calling.
• Engage with decision-makers including Hiring Managers, IT Directors, Heads of Technology, and Procurement teams.
• Arrange and conduct client meetings to understand hiring needs and workforce challenges.
• Negotiate terms of business, rates, and service agreements.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities.
• Work closely with delivery and recruitment teams to transition newly secured accounts.
• Consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue and activity targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
