Job summary

Kerzner International Limited seeks a Senior Food & Beverage Team Leader to oversee daily operations of hotel F&B outlets, ensuring exceptional service and high standards. You will lead the F&B team, coordinate with kitchen and other departments, and address guest needs to elevate the dining experience.

The role requires supervisory experience, training capabilities, and a focus on quality, safety, and teamwork within a luxury hotel environment in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in hospitality (hotel/restaurant management).
• HACCP certified as stated in requirements.
• 2-3 years in a similar role within a five-star hotel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support F&B team members in daily tasks.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance service quality.
• Foster a collaborative, positive work environment and teamwork.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of hotel F&B outlets including outlets, bars, room service and banquets.
• Ensure procedures and standards are followed for consistent service and food quality.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with kitchen and procurement as needed.
• Greet guests and address complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collect and analyze guest feedback to drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef to ensure current, well-balanced menus.
• Develop beverage menus including wine lists and cocktails.
• Ensure menu items are prepared and presented to hotel standards.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
• Maintain records of activities, incidents and inventory.
• Prepare reports on F&B performance for management.
• Conduct regular inspections of F&B areas for cleanliness and adherence to standards.
• Implement quality control and food safety measures.
• Identify areas for improvement and work with team on solutions.
• Act as liaison between F&B team and upper management for clear communication.
• Coordinate with kitchen, events, and housekeeping to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead regular team meetings to discuss goals and issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Conduct safety training and report concerns to authorities as required.
