Job summary

KERZNER INTERNATIONAL LIMITED in Dubai seeks an Assistant Manager to support restaurant management in upholding top F&B standards and to train and motivate colleagues through coaching and communication.

The role covers inventory control, auditing, scheduling, guest preferences, and ensuring service excellence in a luxury dining environment. International experience and language skills are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of supervisory/junior management experience in F&B.
• Solid background in high-end dining, luxury hotel or renowned restaurant group.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels inside and outside of the organization.
• International experience and knowledge of additional languages is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive departmental KPIs for guest satisfaction, IFH, and profitability.
• Oversee stock control, inventory, and ordering of restaurant tools and equipment.
• Attend daily operations meetings in the absence of the restaurant manager and brief the team.
• Assist with department scheduling to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Monitor food and beverage quality and escalate major issues to senior management.
• Record guest preferences in the reservations system and ensure proper tagging.
• Maximize reservations in liaison with Reception and the Reservations team.
