Job summary

Nexus Insurance, Abu Dhabi, seeks a Senior Business Development Manager - Employee Benefits to lead growth of corporate Employee Benefits and Group Medical portfolios. Leverage an existing book of business to secure opportunities and expand Nexus' corporate client portfolio across multinational, government-related and oil & gas sectors.

Build long-term relationships with HR, procurement and executives while negotiating terms and renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5-10+ years of experience in Employee Benefits, Group Medical Insurance or corporate insurance broking.
• Strong understanding of the UAE health insurance and Employee Benefits market.
• Practical knowledge of Group Medical and Employee Benefits solution design, placement and renewal.
• An existing, transferable book of corporate Employee Benefits / Group Health business.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients across Employee Benefits and Group Medical Insurance.
• Leverage an existing network and transferable book of business to generate new opportunities and expand Nexus' corporate client portfolio.
• Develop and execute business development strategies targeting multinational, government-related, oil & gas and other large corporate accounts.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, HR leaders, procurement teams and other corporate stakeholders.
• Act as a strategic relationship manager for assigned clients, ensuring high levels of service, engagement and retention.
• Stay informed on developments within the UAE health insurance and Employee Benefits market and provide clients with market insight.
