Job summary

GIG Gulf in the United Arab Emirates seeks a senior commercial leader to run its Large Corporate business across key broker relationships. The role focuses on new business production, renewal retention, portfolio performance and sustainable growth, collaborating with underwriting and operations to deliver competitive solutions.

You will develop strategic broker partnerships, drive profitability, and oversee complex negotiations while ensuring exceptional client servicing and governance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Large Corporate insurance and client relationship management.
• Strong understanding of UAE insurance market and large corporate portfolios.
• Experience managing complex renewals and commercial negotiations.
• Ability to engage senior brokers and clients with professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Drive New Business and Renewal production across Large Corporate broker portfolio.
• Develop strategic broker relationships and increase share of wallet.
• Lead renewal negotiations and protect profitability.
• Monitor portfolio performance including premium, claims and profitability.
• Coordinate with Underwriting, Claims and Operations to ensure timely servicing.
• Manage complex quotations, tenders and RFP submissions.
• Ensure governance, compliance and underwriting discipline in all commercial activity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client requirements.
