Job summary

Oversee and coordinate the on-site electrical activities, ensuring installations meet design specifications, codes, and safety standards while aligning with project managers and other engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 12+ years of experience in related field.
• High-rise experience and Authorities experience.
• Strong understanding of building systems, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the on-site electrical team, ensuring all electrical installations meet design specifications, project plans, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to manage installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations to verify compliance with quality standards, building codes, and project requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on-site, providing practical solutions to maintain project schedules and minimize delays.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering teams to align electrical work with overall project objectives and timelines.
• Maintain accurate and detailed site documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and daily logs for transparency and project tracking.
• Provides input to the monthly progress report as directed by the Resident Engineer.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
