Job summary

Azizi Developments in Dubai is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to supervise and inspect electrical works on-site (LV/MV, fire alarm, ELV) for high-rise tower developments, review contractor submittals and method statements, and witness testing to ensure compliance with DEWA and Civil Defence regulations.

You will coordinate with MEP/civil/architectural teams, liaise with authorities for approvals, attend technical meetings, and produce inspection and snag lists, leveraging 12+ years of UAE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, 4-5 years in consultant/supervision consultancy.
• Experience supervising electrical works on high-rise tower projects in Dubai/UAE; knowledge of DEWA and UAE standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect electrical installation works on site (LV/MV distribution, cabling, containment, lighting, power, fire alarm, ELV) for high-rise tower developments.
• Review and approve contractor method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings for electrical systems.
• Conduct site inspections and witness testing (cable testing, megger testing, earthing/bonding, ELV integration, DB commissioning).
• Monitor contractor compliance with ITPs, raise NCRs for non-conformances, and follow through to closure.
• Review and verify as-built drawings against site execution.
• Liaise with DEWA, Civil Defence, and other UAE regulatory authorities for approvals and sign-offs.
• Attend technical and progress meetings; prepare inspection reports, punch lists, and snag lists.
• Support the Resident Engineer in monitoring project quality, safety, and adherence to programme.
• Ensure works comply with NFPA, IEC, BS, and local DEWA/Civil Defence standards.

• Strong knowledge of DEWA regulations, Dubai Civil Defence requirements, and UAE construction standards.
