Senior Document Controller – Oil & Gas Projects (PMC/EPCM)

Job summary

Penspen Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced PMC Document Controller to support ADNOC Oil & Gas projects. You will manage project documentation, ensure controlled document workflows, and maintain records per ADNOC and project requirements.

Strong experience with EDMS such as Aconex, ProjectWise or SharePoint is essential, with attention to traceability and delivery tracking. You'll coordinate with Client, PMC, EPC contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and accurate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of relevant Document Control experience in Oil & Gas, preferably with PMC/EPCM/EPC projects.
• Experience on ADNOC projects highly preferred.
• Strong experience with ADNOC/EPC contractor document workflows and engineering deliverables.
• Hands-on experience with EDMS/document management systems such as Aconex, ProjectWise, SharePoint or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of MDR, transmittals, document numbering, revision control, workflow management and document status tracking.
• Experience managing large volumes of engineering, vendor and project documentation.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering deliverables including P&IDs, drawings, specifications, calculations, datasheets, reports and vendor documents.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, document traceability and follow-up skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Client, PMC, EPC contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
