Job summary

Penspen Ltd invites an experienced Senior Document Controller to join a prestigious Abu Dhabi project. You will register, issue and manage project documentation in a controlled, timely manner, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

The role requires a 10-year track record in document control within project-based engineering, with strong MS Word/Excel skills and proficiency in Adobe Acrobat. On-site in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or Equivalent closely related field.
• 10 years experience in organizing & controlling typical project deliverables such as drawings; specifications, operating manuals, vendor submittals, filing systems and document flow procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal Communication skills.
• Experience within project-based engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter document control information accurately on system and produce reports from the database, as required.
• Practical experience of Adobe Acrobat Professional to assemble documentation.
• Issue project related information and documentation in a timely manner and ensure they reflect up to date information regarding project deliverables and correspondence.
• Store & file received documentation from clients, vendors, etc. and supply them to project team.
• Ensure Penspen documentation is correctly formatted and in line with company procedures.
• Keep records of all revisions and comments received/issued on documentation.
• Maintain a complete QA-auditable database record of the movements of deliverables and related correspondence.
• Maintain electronic records of all deliverables and related correspondence.
• Discretion and confidentiality at all times.
