Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced PMC Document Controller to support major ADNOC Oil & Gas projects. You will manage project documentation, ensure effective document control processes, and maintain accurate records in line with ADNOC and project-specific requirements.

The role requires 10+ years in Oil & Gas document control, hands-on use of EDMS such as Aconex, ProjectWise or SharePoint, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of document control experience in Oil & Gas.
• Experience on ADNOC or PMC/EPCM/EPC projects preferred.
• Familiarity with MDR, transmittals, numbering and revision control.
• Proven experience with EDMS/document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage project documentation and ensure robust document control processes.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced PMC Document Controller to support major ADNOC Oil & Gas projects in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, ensuring effective document control processes, and maintaining accurate records in accordance with ADNOC and project-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of relevant Document Control experience in Oil & Gas, preferably with PMC/EPCM/EPC projects.
• Previous experience on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.
• Strong experience working with ADNOC/EPC contractor document workflows and engineering deliverables.
• Hands-on experience with EDMS/document management systems such as Aconex, ProjectWise, SharePoint or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of MDR, transmittals, document numbering, revision control, workflow management and document status tracking.
• Experience managing large volumes of engineering, vendor and project documentation.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering deliverables including P&IDs, drawings, specifications, calculations, datasheets, reports and vendor documents.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, document traceability and follow-up skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Client, PMC, EPC contractors, vendors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
