Job summary

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) seeks a Senior Director – Industry 4.0 to drive the region into an Industry 4.0 lighthouse. You will own the full data lifecycle strategy, governance, and analytics platform, and lead a team of data scientists and engineers to deliver value across the enterprise.

You will partner with business and IT leaders to shape roadmaps, manage risk, and foster a data-driven culture that enhances client service, growth, and profitability.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical) or related technical discipline.
• 20+ years in metal/mining with portfolio of high-visibility, cross-functional programs.
• Proven leadership in agile product management and project execution.
• Strong planning, collaboration, and ability to deliver amid ambiguity.
• Experience guiding data strategy, governance, and analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Industry 4.0 portfolio across EGA and track maturity levels.
• Develop strategic, long-range goals based on market and business studies.
• Lead data lifecycle strategy including data management, governance, analytics and reporting.
• Drive data-driven business value, including revenue growth and cost reductions.
• Collaborate with IT, risk, and business leaders to ensure standards adoption.
• Define roadmaps with cross-functional partners (product, design, engineering, ops, finance, marketing).
• Communicate effectively with executives and board members.
• Mentor and develop analytics/digital teams; build a world-class data function.
