Job summary

Amazon Web Services EMEA Dubai FZ Branch is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to help digitally native customers design scalable cloud architectures and migrate workloads to AWS. Based in UAE, Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

You will partner with sales, own the technical relationship, and guide customers on security, cost, performance and operational efficiency.

The role requires deep technical depth and strong business sense to translate technology into measurable value and drive AWS adoption.

Qualifications

10+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, or systems engineering.
5+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
10+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting in software/Internet industries.

Responsibilities

Build and migrate applications, software and services on the AWS platform in collaboration with the sales team; formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives.
Own the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS; recommend on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS; participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure cloud deployments are successful.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.
