Job summary

VerifiedJobs.ae is seeking a proactive business development professional in Abu Dhabi with strong LED lighting sales and technical support experience. You will create sales plans, manage key accounts, and generate new opportunities while building a robust network of consultants and designers.

You will track tenders, prepare quotations, and drive end-to-end lighting projects from BOQ to closure. A deep market view and energy audit capability are highly valued for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in LED lighting sales and technical support.
• Knowledge of indoor, outdoor, architectural, façade and industrial lighting products.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills; market awareness.
• Based in Abu Dhabi and able to join immediately or with up to 30 days' notice.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business development plan with sales targets and timelines.
• Manage key accounts and develop new opportunities.
• Generate new sales leads independently.
• Develop a network of consultants and designers.
• Track government, semi-government and private tenders; prepare competitive quotations.
• Lead end-to-end lighting project sales: BOQ understanding, supplier selection, proposals, negotiations, submittals and closure.
• Visit clients regularly to maintain relationships and identify current and future demands.
• Perform market and competition analysis.
• Capable of conducting energy audits for lighting retrofit projects.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Create a business development plan for the financial year and clear alignment on sales targets, segments, timelines, and to an extend projects
• Ensure key accounts of the organization are well managed and develop new opportunities
• To generate New sales leads on his own.
• To develop a network of consultants and designers,
• To track the tenders floated by the government, semi-government and private sectors, obtain the tender document, evaluate, and prepare competitive quotations for approval.
• To work individually for the entire stages of Lighting project sales lead Generation, BOQ Understanding, Manufacturer /product selection, Commercial proposal, Negotiation, Submittals, and closure
• Visit the existing/ prospective customers regularly to establish and maintain healthy relationships and spot the present and future demands.
• Perform the market and competition analysis.
• Capable to perform Energy Audits for Lighting retrofit project.

Requirements

• Must have experience in Projects LED lighting Sales and Technical support.
• Good knowledge of a full range of LED products like indoor/ Outdoor /Architectural / Façade/ Industrial Lighting.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and network skill are key along with a strong understanding of market trends, industry issues, and competitor knowledge.

Experience

• Years & Field: 5+ Years in Lighting / MEP product range.
• Educational Qualification: Electrical or Electronics Engineering Degree.

Skills & Abilities

• Software Knowledge Lighting Design, MS Office, AutoCAD, and strong in Sales.
• Valid UAE driving License with own vehicle.
• Available to join immediately or max after 30 day's notice period.
• Should be based in Abu Dhabi
