The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and securing waterproofing and related contracting projects across the UAE.
You will actively meet and build relationships with:
- Main contractors
- Subcontractors
- Developers
- Consultants
- Architects
- Facility management companies
- Property management companies
- Construction companies
- Project managers
- Procurement teams
You will identify upcoming projects, generate leads, arrange site visits, understand technical requirements, prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiate with clients, and work closely with our technical and operations teams to convert opportunities into successful projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3+ years of UAE experience in waterproofing, roofing, construction, construction chemicals, building materials or specialized contracting.
- A proven track record in B2B sales and business development within the UAE construction industry.
- Existing relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, FM companies or procurement teams.
- Strong knowledge of waterproofing systems and construction practices.
- Experience generating and converting project leads into contracts.
- Ability to conduct site visits and understand project requirements.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications and BOQs.
- Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of the UAE construction market.
- Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
- Own vehicle is preferred.
Strong Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who
- Already have a strong network within the UAE construction industry.
- Can demonstrate previous waterproofing or specialized contracting projects they have secured.
- Have existing relationships with contractors, consultants and developers.
- Understand the tendering and procurement process.
- Have experience getting companies registered as approved vendors/contractors.
- Have experience selling technical solutions rather than simply selling products.
- Are comfortable spending most of their working day visiting clients and project sites.
- Have a proven history of achieving sales targets.
