Job summary

Aj Al Asmawi Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Sales Engineer (Valves) to generate profitable sales from existing and new customers in oil & gas, manufacturing, water treatment and power sectors. You will provide technical support, manage tenders, and build strong relationships with clients and manufacturers.

The role requires 3–5 years of valves sales, familiarity with API specifications, and EPC proposal experience, with a focus on delivering win-win solutions and revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years technical sales experience in valves.
• Understanding of API oil and gas specifications preferred.
• Proven proposals experience with EPCs.

Responsibilities

• Sell industrial valves and related products to oil & gas, manufacturing, water treatment and power industries.
• Manage and expand the customer base to achieve sales objectives.
• Generate commercial and technical proposals for project tenders.
• Liaise with clients and manufacturers to support proposals and provide technical assistance.

Sales Engineer (Valves) - (6A & 6D), Wellheads, Christmas Tree, BOP’s, Pumps & Compressors)To generate and create profitable sales from existing and new customers, and to provide support to external sales and clients. involves selling industrial valves and related products to clients in industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, water treatment, and power generation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Technical sales experience in API 6A, API 6D, API 593,....
• Manage and expand customer base in order to promote sustained sales growth to achieve company sales objectives
• A dynamic professional Sales Engineer with a diverse background in sales, proposals, project management, operations, and planning, bring a unique blend of skills and experiences
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients / customers and negotiate win-win outcomes consistently shall lead to increase revenue and client satisfaction.
• Generate professional (Commercial and Technical) proposals for Project Tenders including the assimilation of costs, technical compliance and assessment of margins
• Understand the client’s business to determine requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
• Liaise with clients, providing technical assistance and support, regarding technical specifications of products, and troubleshoot applications as needed,
• Engage, communicate and build relationships with manufacturers to support proposals

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years technical sales experience – with valves
• An understanding of API oil and gas industry specifications is preferable
