Job summary

Agile Consultants is seeking a Sales Engineer – Mechanical / Valves in Abu Dhabi to manage enquiries, RFQs, and quotations for ADNOC group companies and EPCs. The role requires strong technical and commercial experience in industrial valves and oilfield equipment, with a focus on delivering timely offers and supporting negotiations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of regional sales experience in oil and gas equipment, valves, or industrial trading.
• Proven experience dealing with ADNOC, EPC contractors, and oil and gas end users.
• Strong technical knowledge of valves and their applications in the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, RFQs, and commercial documentation in the region.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review enquiries and RFQs from ADNOC, EPC contractors, and end users.
• Coordinate with international manufacturers and suppliers to obtain offers within required timelines.
• Handle enquiries for valves including manual, pig, choke, check, butterfly, gate, globe, ball and other related valves.
• Prepare and submit quotations, technical clarifications, and compliance statements to clients.
• Follow up on quotations, attend clarification meetings, and support negotiations through to order.
• Track orders from award through delivery, coordinating with operations on shipments and schedules.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and suppliers and develop relationships within existing accounts.
• Identify new sales opportunities with ADNOC group companies, EPC contractors, utilities, and industrial end users.
• Support prequalification, vendor registration, and technical submissions when required.
• Keep management informed of delays, client feedback, opportunities, and risks.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, orders, correspondence, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate internally with management, operations, finance, and other team members to ensure timely execution.
